Valiquette Success

The programme aims to strategically cultivate skills in children between 5 to 20.

Valiquette Academy Success

In addition to academics, those enrolled in the programme will receive 1-to-1 financial guidance, employment opportunities, and general skills training so that by the time they are young adults, they are equipped with the tools to make something of themselves and live a happy and successful life.

Our mission in this programme is to launch youth to graduation and beyond – meaning that alongside academics, they will learn crucial life skills before graduating secondary school.

In our programmes we stress that mastery over all elements of this venn diagram will be critical for finding success in any life pathway that a student chooses. To learn more about the Five Pillars, visit the “Five Pillars” page under the Foundation tab.

"Every now and then, as a parent, an opportunity presents itself that has the potential to affect massive positive change for our children. Jay Valiquette and his approach to both education and child and teen mentorship is one of those rare opportunities. Schools, governments and parents should pay attention because the future of schooling is exemplified in Mr. Valiquette’s teachings, words and actions."

Dave Mackey, Parent
We divide our focus of learning and growth into four stages:

Stage 1: The primary objective is about building pure cognitive intelligence. Using techniques like rote memorization, repetition, and exposure to as many new concepts as possible we seek to expand the neurocapability of a child’s brain.

Stage 2: At this stage, we want children to experience what being part of a community means. Through volunteering, they experience taking care of others and working independently and within teams to achieve objectives. Through situational context, emotional intelligence is introduced.

Stage 3: Youth are challenged to balance all three circles on the Critical Skills Venn Diagram (See Above). If they have developed their cognitive and emotional intelligence, and have practised mastery over the 5 Pillars (all while balancing their daily responsibilities), then they have experienced the foundational skills to manage the rest of their lives.

Stage 4: By this point, students have completed secondary school and are now doing the next activity in their lives (CEGEP, trade school, work etc). While they likely will not directly attend our programmes, we have an open door policy and students feel very free to return to ask for advice or receive guidance as young adults newly navigating the world.
